Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Snake River Enterprises LLC ("ListRiver," "we," "us") handles information in two situations: (1) when you visit or use ListRiver.com, and (2) information about businesses that appears in the data lists we sell.
Part 1 — Visitors and customers
Information you give us
- Account details: name, work email, phone (optional), and your business's legal name and state.
- Business verification: information needed to confirm your business is registered, such as its state entity ID.
- Orders: the lists you build, what you buy, and your order history.
- Messages: anything you send us through the contact form or by email.
Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card or bank details go directly to Stripe; we receive only a token, the last four digits and the payment status.
Information collected automatically
When you use the site we record pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, clicks on key buttons, referring site and campaign tags, device and browser type, screen size, time zone and IP address. We use this to understand how the site is used, measure our marketing, and prevent fraud.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site's sign-in and checkout won't work without the first two. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can use Google's browser add-on.
How we use it
- To run your account, deliver your lists and refreshes, and process payments
- To verify that buyers are registered businesses and to prevent fraud
- To send transactional email (confirmations, receipts, list-ready notices, password resets)
- To improve the site and measure our marketing
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms
Who we share it with
We don't sell information about our customers or site visitors. We share it only with service providers who help us run ListRiver — hosting (SmarterASP.NET, Microsoft Azure), payments (Stripe), email delivery, analytics (Google, Microsoft Clarity) and business verification (SMBCredit) — and when required by law or to protect our rights. If ListRiver is sold or merged, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.
Security and retention
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords and access controls. We keep account and order records while your account is open and as long as needed for legal, tax and accounting purposes; analytics data is kept in a form linked to your account only while your account is active.
Part 2 — Businesses in our data
Our lists describe registered business entities. The data comes from official public state business registries and may be supplemented with business credit data from SMBCredit.net. Records can include a business's name, entity details, status, addresses and, where the state publishes it, a registered agent's name and business contact information. We do not sell consumer data, and we never sell registered agents' residential addresses.
If your business appears in our data and you want to correct information or have us stop including your business contact details, use our contact form or email [email protected]. Information that the state continues to publish may reappear in future updates unless we suppress it at your request.
Your choices and rights
You can update your account information at any time and ask us to delete your account. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information. Email [email protected]; we'll verify your request and respond within the time the law requires. We won't discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Children
ListRiver is for businesses and is not directed to anyone under 18.
Changes
We'll post any changes to this policy here with a new effective date.
