The fine print. Record and state counts are as of October 21, 2026 and approximate, and change with every update. Standing and status are as reported by each state in its most recent published file; a small share of businesses may have changed status since. Fields vary by state. Registered agent details are included for most records, not all (3 of the 15 states don't publish them). EINs and email addresses are included only where we have them (more than 2.8 million records with an EIN, more than 400,000 with an email address); most records have neither. We update the database weekly, but states publish on their own schedules (from daily to monthly), so each state is only as current as its latest release. The data is licensed to your organization for its own use and may not be sold, resold or shared with anyone else.
